Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) Medicals
Fitness to Train (EBS / PSTASS) Assessments
RUK Wind Turbine Medicals (with Chester Step Test)
Hearing (audiometry), lung function (spirometry), and drug & alcohol testing

Please bring:
Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
Glasses or contact lenses, if you wear them
Your most recent optician’s prescription, dated within the last 12 months (for driver medicals)
A list of any medications you take
Relevant GP or hospital letters if you have an ongoing condition
Be prepared to provide a urine sample
For the Chester Step Test, you may want to bring trainers and shorts
Yes — you can book directly through our secure online booking system. Just visit our Booking page to choose your appointment time. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your booking is complete.
Yes. The doctor will complete the D4 form during your appointment. If you don’t already have one, we’ll provide a copy at the clinic. With your consent, we can also keep a digital copy in case it’s ever needed again.
Most medicals take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the type. Wind farm and offshore medicals may take slightly longer if additional tests (e.g. Chester Step Test, spirometry, audiometry) are included.
Yes. Our lead doctor, Dr Guy Clayton, is fully OEUK-approved and qualified to carry out offshore medicals and Fitness to Train assessments in line with Offshore Energies UK standards.
Absolutely. Anyone can request a chaperone, or bring someone with them. If you’d like us to provide a chaperone, please let us know in advance by emailing info@humbermed.co.uk, as we may not be able to provide one at short notice.
Yes — we regularly work with businesses across Hull, Beverley, and the North of England to provide medicals for drivers, offshore staff, and wind turbine technicians. We offer group bookings, flexible scheduling, and support with paperwork. Please call or email us to arrange.
